Great video however you failed to show the one thing we need to know. How did you carry and mount the camera on your body to get these pov shots. You obviously used it every day. What is best way to carry and mount the camera and action pod to get 800 clips like this

Why film yourself in the first place if, what counts, is the sharpness of a random building in the background? You could always turn the camera around and just give a voice-over commentary on what's happening, if the landscape is that important. The Ace pro gives your faces a thumbnail-sized space somewhere in the middle of the screen, attached to that face is a huge belly/torso because of the position you're forced to hold that camera in order to respect its minimal near focus distance, and because of the wide angle which actually exagerates your body shape. I'm sorry, but the total result is not very pleasing to look at, especially if you're talking a lot into camera. And by the way, for the rain, mini umbrellas for camera gear do exist, so there is basically no excuse for not using a camera in a little rain. And you get no motion blur with the A.I. stabilization, whereas with a gimbal, you can slow down shutter speed to 1/50 and still get good stabilization results.

Which one would you recommend for driving and/or walking videos ?

Just got this - wondering how you determine proper settings. I heard you say 5600K and 50-70% is that standard for a natural look. Love it so far! And I didn't know the remote turned it on and off - though don't know how I missed it!

You're being way too hard on it. The fact that you said action 4 has better low light says it all: that's objectively not true. You even seem to be acknowledging this in the comments. People try so hard to be "anti-hype" that they end up saying ridiculous things on the opposite end of the polatization scale. It has much better low-light, period. You think it's fragile, fine, that has nothing to do with the footage quality. You're acting like it's worse in every possible way. DJI can't stabilize in low light. That's a problem insta360 has solved, which is pretty amazing considering that's difficult for all cameras.

My Insta 360 X4 does NOT connect with my GPS Action Remote.

Dual rollers are crap. I returned my S8. Even on MAX mode it cant suck up small sand particles that is covering the floors. Brought in by our dog. Probably because its damp and gets slightly sticky. And another thing. The robot cant suck up dust closer than. 10-15mm near carpets. Tested both low and high carpets. Leaves a line of sut mostly all way around.🙄😒 Used turbo mode. Max dont make any difference.

Imagine if this reader was build as a mount so you could have it mounted ex. on the motorbike and power it by USB. Gee, you could drive around for hours and have it ready to film ! So close and yet so far. One female USB-C would be enough. Lighting connector is dead anyway.

I NEED SOME HELP. I am going to buy 11 or 12. and honestly, i dont think that i have so much use for the upgrade. i am going to use the gopro when hiking, fishing and maby freediving. The problem i have is that i dont really know how much i am going to use log and HDR. And when it comes to the wide camera stuff, i mean that not alot of people have 4k or 5k monitors, so am i going to have use for the upgrade from 11 to 12 camera quality? I dont really care about the prize difference, just think that i can get a tripod with the 11 and still be under the prize of the 12. If someone can give me some answer, then i would be very happy

I want to do indoor 120fps ( or 240fps ) 1080p OK, slow motion. I am worried about light flicker (hz) problem that changes from place to place and whether the slow mo recording can still allow me to do the "short-first-frame-later" capability. For example, if I were to put this camera in the middle of a table tennis table right on the NET, will I be able to create videos that shows both the serving guy's service and the receiving guy's return both in 120 fps, 1080p slow motion? Is it possible to do this dream shot with the x4 now?
